VASCAN Steering Committee:

VASCAN Steering Committee schools will commit their senior IT security officer to one meeting per semester for the purpose of developing and enacting the vision and objectives of the VASCAN, or more frequently as needed. Funds that are generated from the annual conferences will be overseen by the Steering Committee. New Steering Committee members may be added by approval of the Steering Committee. The Chair will serve for a two-year term and will be appointed by the Virginia Higher Education CIO Council. The Chair will participate in the CIO Council meetings, will contribute to the agenda of the CIO Council meetings, and will receive guidance from the CIO Council regarding the VASCAN priorities and projects.
